Cheryl Tweedy and Liam Payne are reportedly set to try for a second baby in a bid to save their relationship, following Liam's claims things aren't all 'fine and dandy' with the pair.

Apparently the recent birthday of their son Bear, who turned one last month, has left Cheryl feeling broody and ready for another child 'as soon as possible.'

Chatting to heat, a source said: "Despite their issues, a part of her would love nothing more than to have another child as soon as possible - and she can't help but get a little gooey every time she sees cute little girl outfits.

"She regularly thinks that she should just go for it, get the relationship back on track and then expand their family."

This all comes after Liam recently opened up about the pair's relationship 'struggles' in a candid interview with ES Magazine. He said: "The funniest thing was a week before [the BRIT Awards appearance] we were getting married. The next week we’re splitting up.

"And the thing for me is, I just like to think we’re somewhere in the middle. You know, we have our struggles, like of course I’m not gonna sit here and say that everything’s absolutely fine and dandy, because of course you go through different things, and that’s what a relationship is.

"But we go through them together as a family and that’s the most important thing for me."

Cheryl was said to be 'furious' with Liam's claims, with a source telling The Sun: "Cheryl is furious. She isn’t a fan of putting her personal life out there, and if it had been her choice, Liam wouldn’t have said anything at all.

"She doesn’t want to make a big deal of it but she’s fuming.

"Cheryl wishes he hadn’t put everything about their problems out there. She knew he’d talked about their relationship in the chat, but the reaction to the interview has really upset her."
