A viral post has led Nicola Roberts to confess a little secret from her teenage days.
The viral image shows a Just Eat receipt from a good ‘ol fish & chip shop with a hilarious request attached to it from the customer.
It reads: “Will you please stop in spar on the way and get me benylin cold and flu tablets and I’ll give you the money, only ordering food so I can get the tablets. I’m dying sick xx."
Desperate times call for desperate measures.
When we’re suffering from our January colds, we will defs be remembering this handy little trick.
Anyway, the post prompted Nicola Roberts to reveal that she and bandmate Cheryl used to use their charm to persuade delivery drivers to run errands for them too.
She captioned the photo saying: “This is funny, I know it too well. Me & Cheryl used to do this with our Domino's man when we were teenagers. "Please could you also go to the shop next door and get us milk, washing powder & tabs. We'll pay you extra..".
“We weren't sick, just neither of us could drive. They always did it for us.”
With Nicola and Cheryl behind the request, we bet the pizza delivery guy didn’t mind AT ALL.
The pair are still the best of friends alongside other former bandmate Kimberley Walsh.
They are even rumoured to have worked together on a new track called Crazy Crazy Crazy, which has been penned for Cheryl’s upcoming fifth studio album.
