When you're as huge as Cheryl (yep she's just CHERYL now, she doesn't need a surname), you become accustomed to people having an opinion about what you do, what you wear and what you say.

Sadly, it's part and parcel of fame. We wish it wasn't, but it is.

However, Cheryl doesn't take the haters lying down. Nuh uh. She's got her own way of dealing with those so evidently interested in her life.

Apparently, the trick to avoiding what people say about you is pretending it doesn't exist. You ignore it. You glaze over it. You don't even spend time thinking about it.

Easier said than done, y'know, but if Cheryl does it – so should we all.

Speaking to The Mirror about whether she ever lets the haterz get her down, Cheryl replied:

"I’m too far through the mill for that. You get slapped so many times, at some point it just stops hurting.

"I was sensitive at the beginning and I didn’t understand how somebody who knew nothing about me could write such terrible things."

Cheryl then continued: "Never met me. Never spoken to me. But had such a vicious opinion of me, and it would blow my mind. I was 19, they’d call me fat. That was horrible. And all the lies. But now, I live my life. And they can live their life writing about me."

Touche.

TBF, Cheryl's won.

She's shacked up with one of the most sought after men in the country, the gorg Liam Payne, and she's waaaaay more happy than all the haters put together.
