Seriously, she’s as fun and feisty in real life as she is on the show and when we managed to grab a quick chat with her – she didn’t disappoint.
The 32-year-old divorcee works full time in her salon (they pop at least a bottle of champagne in their a day, FYI) but still makes time for parties.
And in Cheshire, they sound wild.
“At the parties here you’ll often see a naked person or sexual acts being encountered between two people,” Ampika told us. “You would be very, very surprised between who they were! Men do try and chat me up but more so in London when I’ve been to Elton John’s White Tie and Tiara Ball.”
Yes, everyone. It turns out Ampika’s been attending Elton’s infamous balls – which raise money for the Elton John AIDS Foundation – for the past four years and she’s had some A-list admirers trying to win her over.
“The people there that I’ve met are unbelievable. They are at the top of their game and I can’t name names but on two occasions of being there I have met two Hollywood people who asked for my number.
“Being the ambitious lady that I am I will never be a notch on somebody else’s bedpost. I don’t really want to shatter anyone’s A-lister Hollywood ego…”
But what are the parties like? Amazing, apparently – we are VERY jealous.
“His parties are unbelievable,” Ampika added. “They’re on a different scale. There are celebrities everywhere you look.
“One minute you’ve got Yasmin Le Bon on one side and there is Eva Herzigova on the left side of you. Then you walk down the stairs and there is Sandra Bullock and you go back up the stairs and there is Uma Thurman, it is just unbelievable.”
