A video has recently resurfaced online in which X Factor judge Rita Ora opens up about her early relationships.

Speaking of her first boyfriend, the Body On Me singer explained that she became involved with him at the young age of 14, and he was 12 years her senior.

“I was fourteen when I started, when I got my first relationship with a guy,” Rita said back in 2013.

“I would say (he was) about 26, and you have to remember I hadn’t had a relationship before then at all.

“I was very new to the whole world of a man and a female.”

When the interviewer said: “You know it’s called child abuse now?” the singer sighed, saying:

“It is child abuse really isn’t it?”

But despite the interviewer’s obvious concern over the nature of it, Rita insisted that she never felt abused as she ‘wanted’ the relationship.

She said:

“I don’t want to say that I suffered it, because I wanted it. I don’t want to say that I was forced to do it.

“I don’t want people to think that I was forced to do it. I don’t want people to think I was abused as a kid but I was definitely more mature than I should have been at 14.”
