Young love, eh? One minute you're all over each other on Instagram, the next you're in the middle of a public argument at a Coldplay concert.
heat can reveal that Brooklyn Beckham and Chloe Moretz were spotted rowing at last week's gig in LA – and at one point the actress even seemed to dump her boyfriend.
"I don't know what started it, but they were bickering the whole time, then Chloe said out loud, 'That's it, we're through, it's over' - right in front of everyone," says heat's onlooker at the gig on 20 August.
"Brooklyn seemed stunned and they barely spoke a word for the whole rest of the night. It looked like she was deadly serious."
Chloe was later spotted leaving the venue alone, Instagramming a photo of herself with singer Meghan Trainor, while Brooklyn wasn't pictured at all.
The following night, he attended Adele's LA gig with brother Romeo, Holly Ramsay (Gordon and Tana's daughter) and a mystery girl, and wearing a Kanye West-branded jacket – possibly an amazingly teenage dig at Chloe, who's had recent Twitter feuds with the Kardashians.
So what's going on? Surely Instagram's most photogenic couple isn't over already? Well, no, says our insider, but the relationship's definitely out of the honeymoon stage.
"Like any young relationship, it's constantly up and down," says the source. "These two have been on and off so many times over the years, even their own families can hardly keep up."
In fact, back in May, Chloe confirmed "We've been off and on together for a couple of years now, and we just kind of made it official."
The main problem between the couple, we’re told, is how famous they both are.
"Chloe is in high demand and her phone is constantly ringing and that is sometimes hard for Brooklyn to take," says the friend.
"It would be understandable if he was jealous, and they both have a tendency to be super hot headed. After a fight, usually a day or two will go by of them not talking and one of them will break down and reach out."
The friend adds: "Chloe is a few years older than Brooklyn and it took him some time to convince her to even give him a proper shot and she doesn't let him forget that.
"She gets annoyed when she feels he's being clingy but then the minute he pulls away she'll be all over him. As mature as both these kids are for their age, you have to remember they're still young, they love each other, but the relationship is full of drama and a lot of breaking-up and making-up. No one expects this to last forever at the moment."
