Chris Brown is currently increasing security for his upcoming tour, in order to help better his fatherly image as he fights for joint custody of his daughter, Royalty.
This comes after the Loyal singer’s house was ransacked by armed robbers in July while he was out one evening. This lead to Royalty’s mother, Nia Guzman claiming that she was worried for her daughter’s safety.
For the One Hell of a Nite tour, which he is currently over half way through, wrapping up on September 19, Chris has hired an extra five bodyguards to protect himself personally at all times, and a sixth to be in charge of looking after all his money and jewellery, TMZ reported.
His crew, dancers and entourage have also been told to be on their best behaviour throughout the tour, as Chris tries to clean up his image.
This increased level of caution comes just weeks before Chris is due to meet his ex-lover Nia in court to battle for joint custody of Royalty.
Sources close to Nia have told how she is concerned with Chris’ social circle, and the people her daughter might come into contact with at his home.
