**We can expect to see Chris Evans’ face all over our screens in the coming months it seems, as it’s been announced today that he will host the new series of TFI Friday, set to return this November.

That’s in addition to his recently announced appointment as Top Gear post, taking over from Jeremy Clarkson. SHEESH.

The new eight-episode series of TFIF has been confirmed following the success of the one-off special that aired earlier this month, which drew in a whopping four million viewers.

Chris will be reprising his role as host alongside guests such as Lewis Hamilton and Tom Daley.

The ginger one, 49, dismissed rumours of a new series of the 90s classic after the broadcast, tweeting: “Chapter officially closed. Time to move on.”

Well, apparently not.

In today’s announcement he said: “Oh my goodness, are we really going to get to do this again? Looks like it - and leading into Christmas too.

“I might actually spontaneously explode on live television due to overexcited-ness. Does that still count as unpredictable ‘cos I’ve said it now?”

Good Evans, he’s going to be busy! (Sorry.)
