It seems that only yesterday that Chris Evans was married to a teenage Billie Piper. Alas, that actually ended ten years ago. We WERE starting to feel old.
But not as prehistoric as we now feel after learning that the ginger DJ has JUST BECOME A GRANDAD.
Chris, 48, announced on the radio this morning that his daughter, Jade, 27, has given birth to a baby boy called Teddy.
Jade is his daughter from his first fiancée, Alison Ward, and was born when he was 21. Chris then went on to marry Carol McGiffin, before Billie Piper – though he’s been happily married to Natashia Shishmanian since 2007.
48 is CRAZY young to become a granddad, but we’ve just thought up something even crazier.
Imagine, just imagine, if Chris was still married to Billie. She would be the baby’s 32-year-old step-nan. Now that WOULD be weird.
Anyway, congrats Chris.
We’re still feeling confused and think we might be in some kind of time vortex at the moment and are going for a little lie down.
