Love Island’s Chris Hughes has slammed fellow islander Tyne-Lexy Clarson after she made a series of accusations against his girlfriend Olivia Attwood.
In an interview with OK magazine, Tyne claimed Olivia had made Chris stop all contact with her after leaving the villa.
She said: “When I came out, I got on with Chris and his family followed me from his account when he was still on the show, and then as soon as Olivia came out I was removed from everything, Instagram, Twitter the lot - but I think it was Liv.
"I messaged him and said: ‘Are you ok?’, and it was seen and then ignored. Me and Olivia don't see eye to eye really."
She also claimed Olivia bullied her in the Love Island villa, saying: “When we were in the villa, Jess and Olivia were really horrible to me to the point where the executive producers were sent in to say to them stop bullying me.”
Chris, however, rushed to his girlfriend’s defence, blasting Tyne on Twitter: “Bantering? I unfollowed you and you begged it. Stop accusing my girl of anything to stay relevant, grow up some years!”
A Twitter spat then began between the two, with Tyne replying: “Being nice isn't begging it, should try taking a leaf out of my book, now too prestige to even reply to a fellow contestant."
Chris quipped back: “Mate, you b***h on my girl, so why expect me to follow you? Don't ever call me prestige again, unless I turn into a car overnight.”
He then went on to tweet he'd heard rumours that Tyne Lexy had been doing personal appearances for free.
Tyne Lexy was the second islander to leave the Love Island villa after being in the house for just one week.
She recently admitted she had been suspended from Birmingham University, where she was doing an acting course, for going on the show.
