Listen, it’s exhausting enough trying to remember who’s porking who in Hollywood without Chris Martin adding to the mix. Sort-of-ex-wife-but-not-really Gwyneth Paltrow is still on the scene, touching his face at every opportunity she gets, while definitely-an-ex Jennifer Lawrence is outta there, taking home all her gubbins from his house last week.
So that leaves Chris a single man, right? Wrong. As heat exclusively reveals today, the Coldplay frontman has been back in touch with British model and It girl Alexa Chung – and the pair are growing close again, according to our insider.
“Last week Chris thought he wanted Jen back, but he was really hurt by the break-up and is finding Alexa to be a huge source of comfort,” our source added.
As heat reported back in May, Chris and Alexa went on a date three months after he and Gwyn announced they were “consciously uncoupling” – but things fizzled out after Chris met J-Law at a Coldplay after-party in London.
So with Hunger Games star Jennifer out of the picture, will Alexa finally make her move on Chris?

Christian Dior Haute Couture Fashion Show A/W '14: Jennifer Lawrence palm slaps Emma Watson plus all the outfits
Jennifer Lawrence
In one of our favourite J-Law looks yet, the actress rocked monochrome textures to perfection. Paired with a gorge tan and '70s hair and make-up, we bloody love it
Emma Watson
The Watson stunned as usual in her tiered asymmetric frock. Whilst we wouldn't fancy attempting to pull this one off, Em looked beaut (obvs)
Olivia Palermo
Newly married Mrs Johannes Huebl wore a classic Palermo-style mish mash of a tuxedo waistcoat, a printed shirt and a pink pastel clutch. And looked amazing in it obviously
Charlize Theron
A cool tousled quiff and leg-lengthening nude strappy sandals set off Charlize's shimmering mini perfectly
Emma Miller
We're not going to lie, we were quite shocked to see Made In Chelsea's Emma Miller at the Dior show. But her quirky colour and print clash more than justifies it
Marion Cotillard
Keeping it classic, Marion looked sleek and chic in her floaty, layered LBD and classic courts
Rosamund Pike
Those stately homes are more than familiar to Rosamund (remember Pride And Prejudice?). And she looks anything but pikey (sorry) in her blush pink coat and asymmetric strappy heels
Anna Dello Russo
A little overboard on the fake tan, perhaps? But when you've got shoulder padding bigger than the rest of your entire body, we're guessing that's the least of your worries
Anna Wintour
Still yet to crack a smile, Wintour doesn't look overly impressed with the collection. We would be gasping in awe
