Jurassic World actor Chris Pratt announced his engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger yesterday (14th Jan) after seven months of dating. The pair, who reportedly met through Katherine's mother, Maria Shriver, announced their engagement on Instagram in a sweet photo.
Chris wrote, 'Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go! 💍🙏', as Katherine shared the same snap with the caption, 'My sweet love. Wouldn’t want to live this life with anyone but you ♥️💍.' [sic]
Of course, celebrities and fans alike took to the comments section to congratulate the newly-engaged couple, with plenty of Chris' Marvel co-stars sending their well-wishes.
But one person who many would not have expected Chris to hear from is his ex-wife, Anna Faris - who he split from in August 2017, with their divorce being finalised in October last year.
Anna, who was married to Chris for eight years and shares six-year-old son Jack with him, used the opportunity to reach out to her ex-husband and prove that you really can be friends with an ex.
