Chrissy Teigen aka QUEEN of Twitter and just all round mega babe recently added reason number 434141 to the very, very long list of reasons why we love Chrissy Teigen.
After treating herself and her adorbz daughter Luna to a meal at an Outback Steakhouse restaurant in the US, Chrissy left the waitress serving her a $1000 tip. That’s about £760 to us.
After ordering a crispy chicken sandwich, a selection of starters - including her personal fave, the restaurants signature Bloomin’ Onion - and a large glass of Pinot Grigio (which is reason number 434140 why she’s just the best, tbh), Chrissy gave waitress Mikayla Scott a 516% tip on top of the $193 bill. Which seems pretty extravagant for a few onion rings and a bit of crispy chicken, but what do we know.
“She walked in with all her glam,” the waitress revealed, according to Metro.
“I was so nervous I was going to do something wrong.”
At one point, Chrissy’s husband John Legend reportedly joined the party, along with his dad Ron Stephens.
“People kept saying, ‘you are going to get a fat tip,’ I was like, ‘Oh my god, praise the Lord,” Mikayla revealed to Dayton.com.
Chrissy later told TMZ she’d happily do it all again.
“I love Outback. Always worth it, she explained to the US showbiz site.
“She [Mikayla] was wonderful and her husband worked there as well so it was cool. The mood might strike again.”
Mikayla apparently shared the generous tip with her co-workers, including her husband who’s a chef in the restaurant.
UGH. If only Chrissy had popped into the Pizza Express on Ashford high street about 5 years ago… (other Italian food chains are available, obvs).
