Whitney Houston’s mum, Cissy, has spoken about the current condition of her granddaughter Bobbi Kristina Brown.
According to Cissy the 22-year-old’s condition is ‘the same and she’s not progressing at all’.
Bobbi, the only child of Bobby Brown and Whitney, has been fighting for her life in a medical centre since she was found unconscious at her home more than three months ago.
After she was found in her Georgia home at the end of January, she was taken to a hospital, placed in a medically induced coma and in March was transferred from the hospital to a rehabilitation facility.
Cissy told Entertainment Tonight: "She's the same, she's not progressing at all. "She's not gone yet, but you know, whatever the Lord decides, I'm ready for her..I have nothing to do with that. That's His job. It's His territory, you know? And I understand it. We go to the hospital every day and pray.
"And, you know, I talk to [Bobbi Kristina] because she can still hear, and I rub her hand and whatnot."
In a statement last month she said Bobbi remained unresponsive and that doctors she was ‘no longer in a coma’ but had ‘global and irreversible brain damage’.
Also last month her father Bobby told an Atlanta concert that his daughter ‘was awake’.
After Bobby’s comment his wife, Alicia Etheredge-Brown said her husband was ‘in an emotional state when he made his public remarks’. Alicia added: "She has made it out of ICU, opened her eyes, and started a rehabilitation that will be long and hard.”
On Friday Bobby and Pat Houston, Whitney’s sister-in-law, were appointed legal co-guardians of Bobbi. Cissy supports this legal decision.
