Claudia Winkleman doesn’t own a TV and admits children of the future will ‘need therapy’

We understand being one with nature, enjoying life, living on a deserted beach and we very much value our nearest and dearests enough to have multiple conversations with them without using our smartphones or watching television. But has Claudia Winkleman taken it too far by not allowing not one single TV in her house?

Despite this, the Strictly Come Dancing presenter does understand it is 'ridiculous' that she lacks a TV and smartphone in her house. Especially considering she's on the ruddy thing so much.

The mother-of-three told The Sun: "The children of the future will be in therapy going, 'I never talked to my mum and dad as they were always online'. It’s gone a bit bonkers.

"We need to learn when to switch off. I’m probably the only person who doesn’t have an iPhone, and I’ve got no tellies – which is ridiculous seeing as I work in telly."

She added: "I want my children (Matilda, Jake and Arthur) to lay in a hammock, read a book and use their imaginations."
