It's good to have her back - Claudia Winkleman returned to Strictly Come Dancing last night after a horrible few weeks caring for her daughter whose Halloween costume went up in flames during a trick or treat expedition that went wrong.
The presenter had been taking some time off the show, but returned last night to a standing ovation from the audience. She thanked presenter Zoe Ball for stepping in for her, and added 'It's wonderful to be here!'.
It's three weeks since her eight year old daughter Matilda's Halloween costume set on fire after its believed it touched a pumpkin flame, and Claudia had said: '‘I’m coming back to Strictly this weekend but am out of practice so please bear with me. A huge thank you to the incredible NHS doctors and nurses who are being extraordinary. We are bowled over by their kindness and brilliance. Matilda is doing well and although it will be a long road to recovery she is getting the best possible care. Thank you so much for your lovely messages they meant everything.’
We're wishing Matilda the best, and are so glad Claudia's back - Strictly wasn't quite the same without her.
