Coleen Rooney reveals she’s eating her own placenta after son Kit’s birth

Coleen and Wayne Rooney welcomed their third son, Kit, last week. And now 29-year-old Coleen has revealed she’s following in Kim Kardashian’s footsteps by gobbling up her own placenta.

Apologies if we’ve put you off your Frosted Wheats…

But don’t panic – it’s not as sloppy as it sounds because she’s had the placenta made into capsules.

Coleen tweeted a photo of her very own placenta pills yesterday, and said she can’t wait to get stuck in.

"Looking forward to starting my capsules @placentaplus1... Thank you xx."

So did Coleen get the idea from Kim, who did the same thing after both the birth of North and Saint?

Kim told her followers: "I’m having it freeze-dried and made into a pill form – not actually fry it like a steak and eat it (which some people do, BTW).

"I had great results and felt so full of energy and didn’t have any signs of depression. I definitely had to do it again. Every time I take a pill, I feel a surge of energy and feel really healthy and good."

Well, if it’s good enough for Coleen and Kim…
