So we all know it’s coming – no matter how hard you try and fight it, you just have to accept that Michelle Keegan is leaving Coronation Street.

But dry those tears because it looks like she’s planning on having a right nice knees up when she goes. Saying that, we/you are probably not invited, so…

Moving on… Michelle, whose character Tina is being killed off the ITV soap next month, has decided she wants to have a chav-themed leaving party to celebrate her five years on the show.

A friend of Michelle, 26, said the party was a “wake” for her character Tina as well as a send-off for the actress who is heading daaaaaan saaaaafffff (down south) with fiancé Mark Wright.

After the idea for the bash was criticised (apparently the word ‘chav’ has negative connotations or summat), Michelle’s buddy told The Sun: “Tina is chavvy. It’s all in good humour and a celebration of her character.

“It is a wake for Tina but also a leaving party as Michelle is moving away from Manchester.”

Sounds like a hoot to us!
