Coronation Street’s Samia Ghadie has this morning announced the arrival of her baby boy into the world.
The actress and her fiancé Sylvain Longchambon actually welcomed their son on Thursday, but kept the news private over the weekend to have some time with him.

The happy couple have named their new bundle of joy Yves Joseph Longchambon, which is thought to pay tribute to both Samia’s late dad and Sylvain’s brother.
Little Yves – pronounced “Ee-vah” – was born weighing 8lbs 9oz.
“@slongchambon and I are so happy and in love beyond words with our beautiful boy,”she tweeted this morning.
AND – as if that wasn’t enough good news for one day – they’ve confirmed that they’re definitely getting married next year!
Samia first met her fiancé on ITV talent show Dancing On Ice in January 2013, when they were partnered together.
Before that she was married to Matthew Smith, with who she has a daughter, Freya.
