The bromance is dead

Curtis Pritchard and Tommy Fury might have been pitched as Kem n’ Chris-esque bromance when they arrived in the Love Island villa together as bombshells in 2019, but the ballroom dancer has admitted he barely speaks to his former best bud.

The lads had such good on-screen chemistry initially that they landed their own spin-off – catchily titled The Boxer and Ballroom Dancer – but since then we’ve not seen much of the duo together and now Curtis has explained why.

“Me and Tommy talk every now and again but I don’t really talk to the other guys,” he said. “We have gone our separate ways and that’s the way it is.”

Speaking to The Sun he continued, “I don’t speak to that many people from Love Island now. I focus on myself and everything that is going on.”

But it’s not the first time that Curtis has spoken out about drifting apart from Tyson Fury’s little brother.

Chatting to brother and I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! 2020 campmate AJ Pritchard on their AJ vs Curtis podcast last October, Curtis explained, "If you want the honest honest truth - I haven't spoken to him in ages actually.

"I got a new phone and I lost his number. I have messaged him on Instagram a couple of times but I've been pied off by him."

Elaborating on Tommy's ghosting technique, Curtis added, "I've messaged Tommy and he hasn't replied. We are friends but we haven't spoken in a while."
