Daisy May Cooper has opened up about her new look, revealing she’s dropped an impressive 10st over three years. Her transformation took place between filming seasons one and two of her BBC show Am I Being Unreasonable? from 2021 to 2024, with the star explaining, ‘Since we filmed the last series, I’ve had my lips done and I’ve lost about 10st. So, in flashbacks, we don’t even look like the same people.’

Daisy May, 38 – who rose to fame thanks to her BAFTA-winning series This Country with brother Charlie – has previously admitted that she was inspired to lose weight after feeling ‘miserable’.

‘I’m so for body positivity, but when I was at my biggest, I was at my most miserable and I had a massive food addiction. I wasn’t healthy. I couldn’t breathe when I was walking up the stairs. I was so unhappy,’ she admitted.

In a bid to be happier and healthier, the actress – who shares daughter Pip, five, and son Jack, three, with her ex-husband, as well as eight-month-old son Benji with her boyfriend, DJ Anthony Huggins – adopted the keto diet, which involves low-carb, high-fat meals, and also gave up alcohol.

It’s not the first time Daisy May has been candid about her body image. Revealing last year that fillers and Botox left her with a ‘pillow face’, she said, 'My agent said to me, “You’ve got to stop, because you’re not going to be able to f**king act,” because I literally could not move my eyebrows.

'It killed me, because I loved not having any creases in my forehead. But I haven’t had any surgery. I did go in to have a consultation for a tummy tuck, but the surgeon just scared the shit out of me – there were so many complications with it.'

However, while many fans have been quick to gush about Daisy’s new appearance, not everyone has been so kind. Speaking about the backlash she’s faced, she said, ‘I’ve had some messages like, “Well, now you’ve lost the weight, you’re not funny anymore.” What the f**k? Why do women have to be f**king fat to be funny? That makes me so angry. I think everybody should be happy with their body.’
