Just two years after he lost his mum Johannah Deakin to leukaemia, former One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson suffered more family heartbreak last week, when his 18-year-old sister Félicité Tomlinson was found dead at her home, following a cardiac arrest.

Understandably, Louis has remained off social media at this difficult time, but his younger sister Daisy Tomlinson, who is just 14, has shared a heartbreaking tribute to Félicité online.

Sharing a photo when they were little children, Daisy wrote, 'This is the fourth time I’ve tried to write this. No words will come close to explaining how broken I am, once again. My precious sister. My heart is bleeding. I keep imagining and praying they have the wrong person. Not my sister, my best friend.

'It was only a few weeks ago that we were sat on the sofa bed at 3am drinking tea, eating French fries and chatting about the future. You told me about all your plans. We were excited. I pushed you away when you tried cuddling me, I thought I would have so many more chances to do that. I would cuddle you a million times over if you were still here, with me. Protecting me from this cruel world.

'I can still feel your arms wrapping around my waist and your lips kissing my head. I can hear your voice. I want to hold you, keep you safe. Tell you how much you meant to me and how much I adored you. I’m frightened without you. You’ve left me feeling alone.'

The teenager then wrote, 'Mama needed you. i hope you are happier up there with her. make sure you don’t forget about us. keep us in your conversations. I have two angels now, watching over me. i can’t wait to make you both so proud of me.' [sic]

After Daisy's heartbreaking post, friends were quick to send their support, with one writing, 'We love you so so so much daisy', and another adding, 'Sending all the strength that you need, all the love and all my prayers, I really hope that this pain ends soon.' [sic]

It was confirmed last week that Félicité had sadly passed away at the age of just 18.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed, "Police were called by London Ambulance Service at 12.52pm on Wednesday, March 13 to a residential address in SW5 following reports of a female in cardiac arrest.

"At this stage the death is being treated as unexplained. A post-mortem examination will take place in due course. Enquiries continue."

Our thoughts are with the Tomlinson family at this tough time. ❤️
