Dale Winton has died aged 62, his agent has confirmed.

According to the BBC, he died earlier today (18 April) at his home.

The star’s agent Jan Kennedy said in a statement: “It is with great sadness that we can confirm the passing of Dale Winton who died at home earlier today.”

“While we know many will share this terrible loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy at this time of grief.”

Dale Winton is best known for his presenting work - most notable hosting Supermarket Sweep between 1993 and 2000. He also presented the National Lottery game show In It to Win It from 2002 until 2016.
