After a rocky road of allegations and threats concerning Megan Tomlin (his ex-partner and mother of his son, Teddy), we can now announce that TOWIE's Dan Osborne has been axed from the reality show that made him famous. The Sun exclusively revealed last month that Dan made a series of vile threats including that he was 'going to stab' his ex-girlfriend Megan, alongside audio recordings of him shouting abuse at her which recently came to light. Dan denies that he has ever been violent towards women, but Megan's reports speak very differently. In the audio recordings, Dan is said to be heard mouthing horrific abuse including: "Don't be a slag. Shut your f***ing mouth. It won't be funny when you're in hospital."

TOWIE bosses have finally confirmed that Dan's suspension from the show will now be made permanent. A spokeswoman for TOWIE told The Sun: "Dan was suspended during the last series of TOWIE, and Lime pictures and ITV have since decided he will not be returning to the show. We wish him luck in the future."

Eastenders' Jacqueline Jossa, his current partner and mother to his new baby daughter, Ella, has confirmed she is sticking by him and the couple have a holiday in Marbella planned later this summer.
