Dan Osborne’s father has defended his son after an alleged recording of the star emerged in which he appeared to threaten his ex-girlfriend.
The Only Way Is Essex star also seemed to deny he was in a relationship with former EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa, who gave birth to their baby daughter Ella last month.
In the recording, which is thought to have been made last year, it appears Dan says his ex Megan Tomlin, with whom he shares son Teddy, broke up their family by sleeping with another man, something she denies.
He then goes on to call her names and makes it clear he would be very unhappy if she does sleep with someone else by issuing a threat, before denying he is in a relationship with Jacqueline.
Taking to Twitter to defend his son today and suggest Dan wouldn’t have got so worked up, Jim Osborne wrote: “My son @DannyO is more laid back than a dentist chair and so chilled he sleeps standing up xxx.”
According to The Sun on Sunday, the recording is now with the police.
Dan appears to be in a happy place with Jacqueline at the moment after the pair welcomed their baby together last month.
After the birth, Jacqueline tweeted: “Baby ella Osborne was born yesterday thankyou @DannyO and @Sarabro2 for everything. Amazing. She’s perfect x.”
Dan added: “So so so so happy to tell you all!! Our baby girl Ella arrived yesterday evening @jacquelineMjos done SO well, proud of you. I love you.”
