Seemingly not buying into the Christmas message of loving your neighbour, even if they are your ex’s impregnated new girlfriend (we might be paraphrasing a bit…), Dan Osborne’s vengeful past lover Megan Tomlin has decided to spend the festive period taunting Jacqueline Jossa on Instagram.

Although Megan appears to have now taken the messages down, The Sun reports that she wrote:

"Lesson in life 1 - If you don't want to be a single mum don't PLAN a pregnancy without the guy knowing.

"2 (rewind a year to when I was pregnant) a good person doesn't get involved with a guy who came out of a relationship after a matter of weeks and has a baby on the way.

"3 Rebound relationships never last. Finally have a lovely time in Liverpool in the bed I was in just last week (mind you wouldn't be the last time you've tried jumping in my place."

Just pops that warm, fuzzy Christmas bubble right in one, doesn’t it?

Trouser-filler Dan, 23, has a one-year-old, Teddy, with Megan, but is now expecting his second child with Jacqueline. The couple are spending Christmas together in Liverpool, where Dan is staying out of things by starring in panto Jack and the Beanstalk.

Still, unless you’ve just woken up from the longest ever disco nap in preparation for Christmas day, you’ll know that the relationship between the two women isn’t the easiest. And who can blame them, really - Dan reportedly splits his time between staying over at Megan’s house when he’s seeing Teddy, and spending the night at Jacqueline’s, when he's, erm, not.

And Dan and Jacqueline have been the subject of break-up rumours ever since November, when he thoughtfully tweeted: 'Relationships just do not seem to work..'

It'll take a yuletide miracle to settle the sparks between this lot, but still, what is Christmas, if not a time to hope?
