It was announced today that the British Downton Abbey actor, who played Matthew Crawley in the period drama, will take on the role of the cursed prince opposite Emma Watson as the beautiful, bookish Belle.

While movie bosses have yet to release any details about the live-action retelling of the classic Disney story, Emma Watson did hint that it was a musical in a Facebook post.
"It was such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I'll get to dance to Be Our Guest and sing Something There," she wrote.
"My six year old self is on the ceiling - heart bursting. Time to start some singing lessons."
Just to make things even better, British national treasure Emma Thompson is rumoured to be in line for the role of Mrs Potts. CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE.
