EastEnders bosses deny Danniella Westbrook’s claim she’s returning to the show

Danniella Westbrook has claimed she’s heading back to Eastenders later this year, but show bosses have denied there are any current plans to return.

While appearing on Loose Women, Danniella said: "There's a lot of chance of me going back to EastEnders at the moment.

"I do love EastEnders I just really wish we could film it in Marbella.

"I'll probably be back there end of this year."

Danniella played Peggy Mitchell’s daughter Sam, and she claimed she’d soon revise her role, but Eastenders bosses said: "There are no current plans for Danniella to return."

Speaking about Daniella’s claims, a source told The Sun: “There are no plans for Danniella to return, it’s just not going to happen.

“It’s very odd that she keeps harping on about her return to the soap cause it has plainly never been discussed.”
