Danny Dyer and fiancee Joanne Mas ‘to marry in Italy despite him wanting KFC reception’

When we watch Danny Dyer on EastEnders we sometimes drift off into a dream state and wonder what it would be like to marry the cockney hunk.

It usually involves him calling us something like a “daft mug” at the altar before our friends and family burst into a Chas and Dave song.

But it seems in real life it would actually much better – he’s apparently determined to give fiancée Joanne Mas a George Clooney-style wedding.

The actor proposed to Jo on Valentine’s Day and wants to fulfil her wish of an Italy wedding, just like Hollywood actor George.

A source told the Daily Star Sunday: “Danny would be happy getting hitched in a register office followed by a reception in a boozer.

“He’s even joked he’d be happy with a KFC but Jo wants it to be special.

"They’ve been together for so long she wants to do it properly. She’s determined to make it special and suggested Lake Como as a potential venue.

“Danny just wants Jo to be happy and even though he’s been joking about it costing a fortune he is happy for her to have her dream wedding.”

The couple’s romance has had a rocky past and Danny temporarily left the family home at Christmas but proposed a couple of months later in February after 20 years together.
