Last week, Danny Jones and wife Georgia Horsley finally broke cover when they were pictured together following the McFly musician’s shock kiss with I’m A Celeb campmate Maura Higgins. And with their catch-up looking strained, sources reveal all is far from being OK between the once-happy couple.
Danny, 39, and Georgia, 38 – who have been married since 2014, and share seven-year-old son Cooper – stepped out for fresh air last week, and were pictured walking through a park with a coffee in hand. Although side by side, there was no laughing or smiling between the couple, hinting that not everything is fine following Danny’s kiss with Maura, 34. A stony-faced Georgia kept her left hand firmly in her pocket, her wedding ring out of sight of the cameras.
Since then, friends of Georgia’s have said her hidden ring finger was a ‘small act of defiance’ from the former Miss England. ‘Georgia is furious – not just with her husband’s actions, but with all the chaos this has brought to their lives,’ we’re told.
Danny was caught on video sharing a ‘drunken kiss’ with Love Island star Maura at around 3am at a BRITs after-party. Since then, a further video has emerged, appearing to show the pair arriving at London’s Nobu Hotel just after 4am, where they were said to have remained partying until around 6am. Reports have suggested that Georgia has now issued Danny with a ‘final warning’ over other potential videos surfacing.
Danny and Georgia first met back in 2009, while at a Miss London event. Despite Danny showing interest, the model has since admitted she was hesitant. ‘He was a bit of a dick and I didn’t really like him,’ she revealed on Joel Dommett’s Never Have I Ever podcast, adding, ‘I said, “He’s probably going to be a bit of a top shagger.”’
Last week, Danny also made his return to social media – sharing a slew of stories to mark his 39th birthday. Among those sharing their love online were his McFly bandmates, his I’m a Celeb co-star Coleen Rooney, and plenty of fans.
However, one person who failed to wish him happy birthday was his wife, who remained silent online. It came as the model’s friends also alleged the couple were living separately.
They revealed, ‘It has been overwhelming, and Georgia needs time to process what has happened. Only then can she begin to talk about the future. They are currently on a break and living apart from each other.’
