It’s been four months since I’m A Celeb winner Danny Jones was caught in a compromising situation with jungle campmate Maura Higgins. The scandal – where they were caught on camera appearing to kiss, before allegedly drinking together at a hotel until the early hours – rocked the McFly guitarist’s 10-year marriage with model Georgia Horsley, with whom he shares son Cooper, seven.
Now, a source tells heat, ‘Danny and Georgia are at a crossroads. Neither of them seem happy. Friends have advised them to put on a united front for the sake of their family, but both of them are over it. They want to make it work, but don’t know how. Georgia can’t forgive him for the incident with Maura, so they’re playing nice for the public in order to protect their brands and make sure their income isn’t affected.’

Danny, 39, and Georgia, 38, have been trying to rebuild their relationship since the scandal in March, and have largely stopped posting photos of each other on social media. But last week, the musician shared a rare glimpse of his wife on Instagram. Reposting a photo of Cooper with a friend running around the garden, Georgia can be seen relaxing in the sunshine. The post was captioned, ‘A weekend well spent’.
It came after Georgia – who has maintained a dignified silence throughout the scandal – posted a pic of Danny in celebration of Father’s Day. In May, though, she noticeably failed to mention her husband as she gave an update on her activities and shared photos featuring Cooper and her friends.

The couple, who married in August 2014, have not been pictured out together since March, when they were reportedly putting on that ‘united front’. But with Danny set to embark on a three-month Busted v McFly tour in September, friends say the pressure is on for them to sort things out, so he can focus on the gigs, as they are worried the drama could be having a negative effect on his performances.
‘When Danny played at the Summertime Ball in June, things weren’t right,’ we’re told. ‘He seemed quiet and wasn’t his usual energetic self onstage. His mind was somewhere else – probably his marriage.’
Our source adds, ‘The band don’t want any negativity ahead of the tour.'
