“Comedian” Dapper Laughs has found his series dropped after he told a female audience member at one of his shows that she was “gagging for a rape”.
His performance at the London Scala was jam packed with low points, which include when he began denying that his show is a guide on how to sexually assault women.
He brayed: “I filmed six episodes, half an hour each, if it was a guide to rape, it would have done one five-minute episode, come on and go ‘Oi Oi, I’m Dapper Laughs, go down the shops, get some rope, bit of duct tape, rape the bitch, well done, see you later.’”
He went on to assure the audience, “You can’t rape women”, to which one male member of the audience replied, “Yes you can!”
As if completely oblivious to his offensive words, Dapper then told a female fan: “She’s gagging for a rape. Yep, we’ll have a chat afterwards…
"Do you want to come backstage after? Bring two of your mates, you’ll need them."
A spokesperson for ITV said: “We have given careful thought to the recent criticism of the character Dapper Laughs, which has focused on his activities outside of the ITV2 programme, whose content was carefully considered and complied.
"We have taken the decision that we will not be considering this show for a second series.”
Maybe use the extra time to work on a few new jokes, Dapper? Perhaps ones that don’t centre around violence against half of the global population, huh?
