David Beckham surprises family with £64,000 cheque!

David Beckham could be turning up on your front door soon!

And for one lucky family, Becks went-a-knocking to shower them with a $100,000 (£65,000) cheque and plenty of pressies.

The former England captain appeared on Knock Knock Live, hosted by Ryan Seacrest to surprise the Gonzalez family.

Mrs Gonzalez opened the door screaming 'oh my god' as she saw David's smiley face standing at her front door step.

Once he was invited into their home and before giving the entire family new iPhones, David said: "I'm here for a few reasons."

"One of the main reasons why I'm here is I was told about your family and I was very honoured to come down here and to be welcomed into your home and actually meet you one-on-one.

"I've heard how much you work, I've heard what an amazing family together you are, you're such a tight-knit family.

"So thanks to my friends at Sprint, I have this for you."

David left the family highly emotional after he handed them the big cheque to help them with the finances.

Perfect for the job, Mr Victoria Beckham, met Mr Gonzalez who used to be a professional footballer in Mexico. Mr Gonzalez gave up his job to work as a construction worker in order to support his family.

"Giving the cheque for $100k, you can see it means so much to them. You can see it has literally changing their lives," David said after the episode.

"I'm very fortunate in my life, and to be able to do this for this family that works so hard, it is an amazing feeling."
