David Bowie is to be remembered at this year's BRIT Awards with a tribute to his amazing life and career.
The late musician passed away earlier this week aged 69 following an 18-month battle with cancer.
The award organisers have said they will remember Bowie at next month's ceremony at London's O2 Arena on February 24th.
They said: "David Bowie was one of the most important and influential songwriters and performers ever and, like so many fans around the world, we're devastated to her of his loss.
"A visionary and ground-breaking pioneer, he has inspired generations of musicians and will continue to shape music for many years to come."
They added: "Naturally, we wish to honour his extraordinary life and work at the forthcoming Brit Awards and pay a fitting tribute to one of our greatest icons."
David Bowie won his last BRIT Award in 2014 when he picked up the award for Best British Male for his album The Next Day.
This year's BRITs will be hosted by Ant & Dec and will see Adele, Coldplay and Justin Bieber take to the stage.
