It’s not everyday that the Prime Minister of Great Britain is accused of porking a pig, and yet this day – this glorious day – is the day that David Cameron woke up to find himself facing accusations that he did, indeed, put his little David inside a dead pig.
The outrageous allegations stem from billionaire peer Lord Ashcroft, whose new book* Call Me Dave* is stuffed full of anecdotes about Cameron’s rise to power. And it, er, touches on some of his exploits at Oxford University – one of which was this story about an initiation ceremony that involved a severed pig’s head and David Cameron’s willy.
While Downing Street has refused to comment on the story (the PM’s official spokesman said he wasn’t “intending to dignify this book by commenting on it”), that hasn’t stopped the internet from having an absolute field day.
We should probably point out that there is literally zero evidence of this ever happening, but it's still the best start to a Monday we've ever had.
