Model David Gandy scooped his first GQ Award last week – he was crowned Hugo Boss’ Most Stylish Man– and we caught up with him at the after party on the terrace of The Royal Opera House, where he was having a few cocktails to celebrate.
David, who is dating The Saturday’s Mollie King, told us he keeps his relationship private, but that didn’t stop him from teasing us…
When asked whether there was going to be a proposal on the cards, David said: “I think we’ll keep people guessing.” But he did say he was “romantic” and when asked if he'd like to be a dad, he added, “of course”.
He also told us how he enjoys cooking for Mollie.
He said: “I cook for her most nights, I cook whatever she wants to eat, we eat a lot of seafood.” But unlike the rest of us, he never forgets to defrost the meat, he added: “I eat very fresh so I buy every night. It’s not carbs that you have to worry about it’s processed food – they are the worst. Fresh is the diet."
And when it comes to chilling out in front of the telly, David tells us he and Mollie are divided on their programmes.
He told us: “Mollie watches Strictly Come Dancing and The X Factor but it’s not my thing – I’m more into Mad Men and Sopranos.“
