It's no secret that Geordie TV presenter Dec Donnelly and his co-host Ant McPartlin are two of the best paid people on TV, but now Dec's salary for this year'sI'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here has been revealed, and it's fair to say he's definitely not going to be short of a few pounds this Christmas.
Dec, who has presented the popular show since it first started way back in 2002, is reportedly getting a cool £2.5 million for this year's stint, the same as his 2018 co-host Holly Willoughby.
WOW! 💰
It comes after it was reported back in 2017 that Ant and Dec earn a WHOPPING £79,000 per DAY, with shows such as I'm A Celebrity, Britain's Got Talent and Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.
Despite Ant McPartlin having his struggles in 2018 and consequently taking time away from the world of showbiz, it has been a great year for Dec.
As well as gaining massive amounts of praise for hosting Britain's Got Talent on his own, Dec became a dad for the first time back in September when his wife Ali Astall welcomed a baby girl.
Taking to Instagram to announce the news, Dec wrote, 'Ali and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our baby girl, Isla Elizabeth Anne, who was born just after 9 o'clock this morning. Mother and daughter both doing well, Dad is head over heels! D x.' [sic]
So cute! 👶
Meanwhile, as well as both Dec and Holly earning a massive amount for their presenting roles on this year's I'm A Celebrity, the contestant fees are also ridiculously high this year.
