Demi Lovato gets the cutest, tiniest dog for her birthday! Meet Batman!

Demi Lovato turned 23 yesterday and got THE most adorable pooch for her birthday. And she named him Batman. So, so cute.

OMG, we can't take how cute and tiny and little and smmaaall he is. He is literally the size of one of Demi's hand.

The Cool for the Summer singer introduced the new addition to her family, on Twitter.

Alongside a picture of the fluffball sleeping on the sofa, Demi wrote: "Ummm... guys.... meet Batman....."

Her new furry companion comes after she lost her previous dog, Buddy, last month, after a tragic incident.

It was a sad time for Demi and she was left heartbroken after the loss.

At the time, she announced to her Twitter followers that her dog with boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama had passed, saying: "We are absolutely heartbroken to be writing this but Wilmer and I are devastated to inform you that we lost our little angel Buddy last Sunday.

"He was taken from us way too soon in a tragic accident and though I will never know why this had to happen, I do know that God only puts us through situations that we can handle so with that, together we our staying strong."

After receiving a lot of messages and support from fans, Demi added: After an outpour of fan love and support, Lovato posted an adorable collage of her late maltipoo pooch and wrote.

"We can't thank you all enough. This has been the most painful week of my life but because Wilmer and I had so much love and support, I've been able to stay strong and will continue to get through this difficult time."

So this it's especially lovely to meet Batman. We hope he brings you much joy and is a well-behaved pup, Demi.
