In a statement, Demi Moore has said she is in "absolute shock" after a 21-year-old man reportedly drowned in her home swimming pool.
The Los Angeles Police Department reported that the 52-year-old, who was not home at the time, was not a relative of Demi's.

"I was out of the country travelling to meet my daughters for a birthday celebration when I got the devastating news," Demi said. ""The loss of a child is an unthinkable tragedy and my heart goes out to this young man's family and friends. I ask that you please respect the privacy of all concerned during this sensitive time."
She added that the death - which occurred at a party held by her assistant - was an "unthinkable tragedy and my heart goes out to this young man's family and friends".
The man, named in reports as Edenilson Steven Valle, was discovered in the backyard pool of the actresses LA home at 5.30am (1.30pm UK time) yesterday.
When officers arrived at the property there was a small crowd around the body. Authorities told TMZ the man slipped and fell in the pool, but did not know how to swim.
Demi's daughters, Rumer Willis, 26, Scout LaRue Willis, 23, and Tallulah Belle Willis, 21, were with her ex-husband, actor Bruce Willis at the time of the incident.
