Denise Van Outen has opened up about her fallout with Johnny Vaughan.

Denise presented* The Big Breakfast* with Johnny on and off from 1998 to 2001. The pair later reunited to host a radio show together in 2008.

(Oh, and they got to number three in the UK singles chart with a cover of Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan’s Especially For You. That was nice…)

But their time on the radio show only lasted six months after Johnny made her doubt her own ability.

"I'm a girl's girl but I've got quite a male sense of humour so I get on with guys," she told the Daily Telegraph.

"I can hold my own in a group of guys and especially guys like Johnny that like a bit of banter, because I can send myself up. He was a really good mate."

Explaining their fallout, she said: "I was nervous about doing radio on my own because I was made to feel I wasn't capable of doing it on my own by Johnny.

"I think he knocked my confidence a bit."

Not cool, Johnny. Not cool.
