Julia Roberts has worked with a few hotties in her time. But it was the one that got away in My Best Friend's Wedding that she reunited with at the Guys Choice Awards last Saturday.
Dermot Mulroney played her best mate, Michael O'Neal, in the 1997 smash-hit that also starred Cameron Diaz (as his ultimate squeeze) and Rupert Everett in fine karaoke form (who can forget that rendition of "I Say A Little Prayer?")
Now 52, Dermot looked sharp and sultry in a grey suit as he presented his real-life mate with the Woman of the Decade Award.
Dermot told People: "I've had a great friendship with her and would push these guys out of the way to say something nice about her."
We're sure Julia would return the favour. Let's take a look back at the leading man's career and what his hotness has been up to lately.
The ROMCOM years
Without a doubt, Dermot is most famous for the being the meat between Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz in My Best Friend's Wedding.
But romcom diehards may remember he wooed Winona Ryder first in H_ow to Make an American Quilt_. Their lingering smooch was nominated for "Best Kiss" at the MTV Movie Awards in 1995.
In the same year, he appeared on Friends as one of Rachel's dates but Ross came between them.
Fans of New Girl are screaming for Dermot's return as Russell 'the fancyman' who forced Nick to declare his true feelings for Jess back in series one. Doesn't Jess deserve a little more sophistication in her love life?
The HANDSOME OUTLAW years
Dermot has appeared in his fair share of Westerns, none more famous than Young Guns where he played 'Dirty Steve' alongside the 90s ratpack: Emilio Estevez, Charlie Sheen, Kiefer Sutherland and Lou Diamond Philips.
He romanced Bridget Fonda in Point of No Return and Madeleine Stowe in Bad Girls.
But he proved he's more than a pretty face in The Last Outlaw, holding his own against Mickey Rourke in the post Civil War cult classic.
The HORROR years
In 2013, Dermot played the leading role in The Rambler – an ex-con who runs into a few misfits on a soul-searching journey across a bleak US landscape.
Later that year, Dermot reunited with Julia Roberts for the movie version of the Pulitzer Prize winning play, August: Osage County. The star-studded ensemble cast included Meryl Streep, Ewan McGregor, Chris Cooper, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Juliette Lewis.
In 2015, Dermot featured in the horror prequel, Insidious: Chapter 3, as a possessed girl's father. A far cry from being (literally) chased by lovely ladies!
Surprise TALENT
Dermot is an accomplished cellist, producing music for Alanis Morissette, Melissa Etheridge and Rain Phoenix's band, Papercranes. He's also contributed to the scores for M_ission: Impossible III_, M_ission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol_, and Star Trek Into Darkness.
Dermot has been married to Tharita Catulle since 2008. Not much is known about the mysterious brunette beauty so their marriage just might outlast the media interest.
2016
And he's still FIT.
See? DO YOU SEE?
