Dev Patel and Freida Pinto have split six years after first getting together on the set of 2008 hit film Slumdog Millionaire.
According to Us Weekly, the pair broke up a while ago and Freida is already starting to venture out into the dating scene once more.
A source told the magazine: "Freida is single and happy. Friends are setting her up [on dates]."
They've been dating since Skins star Dev was 18 and Freida was 24, having played the romantic leads in Danny Boyle's Bollywood-inspired drama.
The pair didn't always want their love life to be played out publicly, but on a number of occasions they told interviewers that they were made for each other.
Freida once told Interview magazine: “I guess he was right in a way; we are soul mates.”
They also told Us Weekly last year that they didn't celebrate Valentine's Day because "every day should be a celebration of love".
Despite these words, the couple haven't been seen together in public for some time – even at Freido's 30th birthday party in October.
