If there’s anyone who’s going to know the ins and outs of One Direction really well it’s going to be one of their fellow former X Factor contestants.
The 1D lads formed the band on the show in 2010 and competed against fellow group Diva Fever, who are still going strong.

And Diva Fever star Craig Saggers, who lived with Zayn Malik in the X Factor house, has spoken out to say he's not surprised the star left the his band.
Craig told heat radio: “I don’t think it’s very surprising.
“I think most boybands have a five year shelf life. Everybody knows most boybands, you think Westlife, Boyzone, Take That, they all lasted about five years and then they broke up or somebody leaves.”
When asked if he’d had a breakdown over Zayn’s departure, he added: “No... but I’m sure there’s some people out there who have not managed to leave the house today.”
Craig said he thought Zayn and the rest of the One Direction boys – Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne – probably find it tough travelling around the world and spending time away from family.
He said: “Zayn was really nice, all of them were really nice, just really normal and down to earth.
“I think because they’ve been in a bubble for the last five years he probably feels like he just wants to have a life.”

Zayn quits the band on 25 March. A statement reads: "My life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined. But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band. I'd like to apologise to the fans if I've let anyone down, but I have to do what feels right in my heart."
