The tragic death of Heath Ledger will be recreated in a Channel 5 documentary examing the late-Hollywood actor's final hours.

In 2008 Heath died, the same year he played his last role as his phenomenal interpretation of The Joker in *The Dark Knight Rise. *

And now forensic physician Dr Jason Payne-James is going to examine the stars accidental overdose on prescription drugs in a new programme called: *Autopsy: The Last Hours Of Heath Ledger. *

Starting on Monday, *Autopsy *is set to follow the same structure for the rest of the series, as they re-enact the actor's death, seven years since his passing.

In August, a German documentary about the life of Heath resurfaced online, giving a glimpse into how he created his chilling role as The Joker.

In the trailer for Heath Ledger: Too Young To Die, part of German documentary series Liebling der Götterhas, Heath's father Kim Ledger talks us through the diary, which is filled with pictures of playing cards, hyenas, clowns, old Joker character images from Batman comics and lots of writing.

Autopsy: The Last Hours of Heath Ledger airs on Monday October 5 on Channel 5 at 9pm.
