Wonderful Drew Barrymore, who we're still not so secretly trying to become BFFs with, has revealed that she’ll be stepping out of the limelight while her children are growing up in a bid to spend more time with her family. And while this sucks for us, if the above picture is anything to go by those kids have really lucked out.
In an interview with The Times, she said: "My whole universe revolves around my children, and the hours keep me away from them too much". She added, "I'm not willing to do that."
Drew is married to art consultant Will Kopelman and has two daughters: 3-year-old Olive and 17-month-old Frankie.
Die-hard Drew fans like us shouldn't despair though – the actor isn’t planning on quitting forever but rather she’ll just be pickier about the roles she pursues while her kids are young.
"Any acting roles will be few and far between until my kids are older and by then, who knows what I'll want to do?" she said.
But if you're desperate to get your Drew fix before she adopts a lower profile, you can catch her in the comedy-drama Miss You Already alongside Toni Collette and Dominic Cooper, which is out now.
