Dean Wicks, EastEnders arch-villain, is set to attack again before his exit from Albert Square.
Dean, played by Matt DiAngelo, raped his brother’s partner Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) in distressing scenes broadcast last year.
Now Dean is set to attack again. And it looks as though this time his victim is his girlfriend, Roxy Mitchell (Rita Simons).

Viewers have watched awful Dean growing increasingly controlling of Roxy over recent months – even cutting off her hair when she planned a night out without him. Ronnie Mitchell (Samantha Womack) has pleaded with Roxy to dump Dean but Roxy refuses.
The BBC is reportedly working with the charity Rape Crisis on the storyline that will see Dean attack Roxy.
But will Dean ever get his just desserts for what he’s done to Linda and will try to do to Roxy?
EastEnders executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins, speaking in The Mirror, assured soap fans: “There is justice. And how it’s meted out will be satisfying but shocking too.”
A spokeswoman for the soap said: “EastEnders has covered every other conceivable issue.
“If sexual violence or rape was the only big topic EastEnders never approached, it would reinforce the idea sexual violence is unspeakable.
“Because people relate to soaps they can have a social impact and make people feel less alone or encourage them to come forward and seek support for the first time.”
Amen to that.
