It was no 2015

When we think of the BRIT Awards, the first thing that usually springs to mind is a very, very worse for Ed Sheeran rolling out of an after party in 2015 propped up by several members of his security.

Our general Saturday night aesthetic, tbh.

However, this year, newly engaged Ed decided to celebrate post-BRITs in a vastly different manner. He ducked out early and went for a curry with his fiancé Cherry Seaborn.

The pair made an early exit from the Warner Music after party and head off to Mayfair for a celebratory curry, following Ed’s Global Success Award.

Ed recently triggered speculation that he and Cherry had already tied the knot, as he was spotted with a wedding band on his ring finger.

However, speaking on Good Morning Britain Ed denied the rumours the couple had married in secret.

“I’m not married,” he explained.

“I’m just wearing an engagement ring as well, because I feel like you both should.”

Ed announced his engagement to Cherry back in January, taking to Instagram to reveal he’d popped the question before New Year’s Eve 2017.

Beneath an adorbs picture of the two of them, he wrote: “Got myself a fiancé just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well xx”

In other BRITs news, Cheryl and Liam Payne made their first public appearance since rumours of a split surfaced.

The pair posed for pictures together on the red carpet and enjoyed the ceremony - where Liam performed with Rita Ora.

It comes after rumours suggested the pair had ended their relationship, despite welcoming their son Bear Grey Payne into the world in March 2017.

Many fans believed Liam and Cheyl's romance had ended due to their busy work schedules, but it looks like they are VERY MUCH still on.
