Here at heat, we're forever writing/swooning about how much we'd love to find ourselves an exact male replica of Ed Sheeran that we can carry around in our pockets all day errrrrrrday.

He can literally do no wrong.

From smashing music world records and filling up the top 20 with EVERY SINGLE track on his new album to giving his girlfriend his trainers after her Louboutins broke after a heavy night of dancing.

Ed Sheeran is also not afraid to get all romantic - he's literally got hearts and flowers running through his veins and we imagine he laughs in the face of all the 'lads lads lads' who think it's ok to break all of our hearts and stamp on 'em over and over again.

And to make you even more emotional about never finding someone as good as him, Ed has been chatting about the song that was solely inspired by his long-term girlfriend and childhood love Cherry Seaborn.

Opening up to US magazine, Ed explained: "Perfect was the first song that I wrote for the album - it was inspired by Cherry.

"The line that goes, 'Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favourite song' was about when we were in Ibiza listening to Future’s March Madness literally not wearing any shoes and going mental on the lawn, which was quite a nice time.

"I didn’t see her first reaction to the song because she lived in New York at the time. So I just emailed it to her but she did really like it."

Ed is faaaaaaar too good for this mean old world.
