In Ed Sheeran lookalike news almost as exciting as that baby that was his actual twin, a guy called Wesley Byrne has materialised who is the SPITTING IMAGE of the singer.
Seriously, we think he might actually be Ed Sheeran.
Wesley appeared on This Morning yesterday, and opened up about what life’s like when you look exactly like Ed. And it sounds quite stressful.
He revealed he regularly gets mobbed by fans thinking he’s the real deal, and even gets asked for autographs while he’s at his job in Asda.
"It started when I was on a night out and this random guy was adamant that I was him.
"He asked me to sing something and I had to show him my passport to prove I wasn't him.
"I didn't find out who he was until a friend at college said 'Google Ed Sheeran, you look exactly like him.'
"It happens every time I'm at work, if I'm out with friends or just shopping. I've been told to stop taking selfies at work because people are coming up to me while I'm working.
"Some of the smaller kids I don't have the heart to tell them I'm not Ed so I say 'yep, the music didn't work out.'"
Wesley / Ed also previously told The Independent: “I've developed a bit of a sense of when it's going to happen - it happens all the time when I'm out and about.”
“Being stopped in the street and asked for pictures and autographs has started to happen more and more since he's got bigger, especially if I'm out in Manchester.
“A random guy on a night a few years back didn't believe I wasn't him. He spent a good 15 minutes convinced I was him and wasn't having any of it when I said I wasn't.
“He even wanted me to start singing. I said to him 'I don't know who you think I am but I can't do that. My mates just stood there laughing. I Googled him when I got home and it freaked me out a little bit when I saw how similar we looked.
