Ed Sheeran’s manager reveals the singer has added ‘stupid clauses’ to his contract

Ed Sheeran is known for being a bit of a joker, alongside penning some stellar hits.

But Stuart Camp, Ed's manager, has revealed the extent to which Ed's pranks go, confessing he now has "stupid clauses" in his contract purely for the singer's hilarious gain.

Speaking on the BBC Introducing podcast, Stuart confessed he dreads renegotating his contract, as it makes him "nervous" knowing Ed's mischevious ways.

He said, "Every year he puts a stupid clause in it that I have to proceed with. It’s the honest to God truth."

Announcing his latest contractual agreement - you may think he's making this up - he revealed that Ed makes him carry around a picture of Fred and George Weasley from the Harry Potter movies.

He said, "I have to carry a picture of them in my wallet at all times. I have a little laminated card of those lovely twins.

"I have to have that with me at all times. It’s in my management contract. Stupid things like that."

Stuart, who has worked with the Shape Of You singer since 2011, went on to say how Ed keeps track of Stuart's whereabouts, and if the manager does any press interviews or gets pictured, Ed will always ask where the pictures of the twins are.

"If I'm in [a magazine] and there isn't a picture of it, he rings me and says, 'You're in breach'."

This news comes after Stuart's wife Liberty sadly shared the news that Ed's cat, Graham, had been hit by a car and unfortunately passed away.

In the post she wrote, "Our lovely little bud Baby Ba Boo aka Graham the Kitten passed away last night after being hit by a car.

"We are absolutely heartbroken. He was such a dude. Funny and clever and best mates with a massive German Shepherd. We are going miss you so much. Thanks for all the fun. #Babybaboo."

Ed rescued Graham when he was a kitten, and he was being looked after by Ed's manager and his wife, while he was away on tour.
